Present day sport performances from our Horses

Undoubtably Krack C , Gribaldi and Painted Black are among the top European sport horses. United, Vivaldi, Tango and various youngsters are already knocking at their door.  In the years 2006/2007 dozens of horses and foals were acquired.  Some for trading, some for sport and some for stud stallions.

Overall 2007 was an absolute top year regarding the acquisition of two and a half year-old approved stallions.  Don Massimo is approved by the Westphalien and Oldenburg Studbook and is currently undergoing the KWPN selection procedure.

Joop van Uytert has purchased the jumping stallion Diarado in combination with the Holsteiner Studbook and Schockemöhle.
The coming months there will be several additional stallions that will be presented for the KWPN Stallion Selections.
For this year the focus will be on the purchase of around 100 selected foals.  The planned foal shows on the 29, 30th and 31st August play an important part in these acquisitions.
The breeders themselves do a lot of trading in these above-mentioned show days.  Approximately 40 – 60% will be available for sale and go into new ownership.

Collaboration with other countries and studbooks.

We have begun a joint venture with the largest and famous Hannovarian Studbook, the semen from the I.P.S stallions Gribaldi, Krack C, United, Painted Black will be promoted and handled by the ‘Landesgestüte’.
In reciprocation I.P.S Horse Group and Stud Station van Uytert will be representing a number of stallions out of the 150 selected by the Hannovarian Studbook for the Benelux.
These stallions will be specially selected in collaboration with the Landesgestüt for their proven performances within the breeding.
Additionally we have chosen to work with Stud Station Wilburs in Germany within the D Pony breeding.  The I.P.S Horse Group wants to stimulate young riders with the young rider Julie van Olst and these stallions will also be available within the Benelux.

The I.P.S Horse Group Belgium is working on a four-year plan together with the B.W.P. (Belgium Warmblood Studbook).
With the utilisation of top performing Belgian, Dutch and German stallions we will try to achieve a breeding plan so that Belgium can play a greater role in the dressage sport in the next 5 years.  With the jumping breeding in Belgium, as an example, where there is so much competition amongst the breeders, we think there is a lot of potential growth in the dressage breeding.

New Building in Weelde – Belgium

Our work in Weelde, Belgium is currently in full swing and we are hoping to have it completed in the middle of March 2008.
The facility will comprise of an indoor school of 60 x 20 meter with the possibility to erect tribunes.  There will be a European Stud Station, Laboratories and an outdoor manege 60 x 30m, lunging paddock and fields.
The idea behind this set up is geared towards being an accommodation available for professional riders with a minimum of Light-Tour experience and therefore it will not function as a manege!

The goal of the I.P.S Horse Group is to work with dressage horses that perform in the topsport and not to sell them.  So far this has worked well.  To date we have 12 good horses currently in training so that a trade is maintained in top quality dressage horses.  With the stud stations, trading in horses and sponsorship the I.P.S Horse Group hopes to expand into the countries France, England and even Scandinavia in 2009 – 2010.
